In the 19th century, Nepalese PM Bir Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana popularized wearing of suit with Daura-Suruwal in Nepal after getting back from his UK trip. Back then he combined it with a coat gifted by the then Queen of United Kingdom, giving birth to a well-defined and elegant style by blending the traditional Nepali look with a western flair. With Bhirkot we have tried re-imagining the suit jacket for Nepal, complementing both Daura-Suruwal and Western wear.
